THE STORY BEHIND BEGRANDFATHER
In my heart and in my memory, my grandfather will always be one of the strongest boxers of the 1950s — a man who could knock down anyone who stepped into the ring with him.
But this is not a story about a perfect man.
My grandfather was not a role model in every part of life. He wasn't perfect, and I saw his mistakes too. Yet when I needed him, he was there.
He was firm, strong, and present. In the moments when my father wasn't there, my grandfather stepped into that place. Not with grand words, but simply by showing up.
And sometimes, that is what matters most.
I thank God for placing my grandfather in my life — with all his imperfections and all his strength. Through him, I learned discipline, responsibility, and resilience.
BeGrandfather is a conscious choice to live and work by values rooted in the teachings of Christ: faithfulness, perseverance, and responsibility — both in our work and in our relationships.
To everyone who believes in us, trusts us, and stands beside us: thank you for being part of this journey.
